HabitRacer ("the app", "we", "us") is a habit-tracking app for Android. This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and what control you have over it. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run the app, we never sell your data, and you can delete everything at any time.

Third-party services

HabitRacer uses the following services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely on Google Firebase servers and protected in transit with encryption (HTTPS/TLS). Access to production data is restricted, and the app uses integrity checks (Firebase App Check) to block unauthorised access.

Data retention and deletion

Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time:

In the app: Profile → Delete account.
Or online: follow the steps on our account deletion page.

When you delete your account, your habits, history, chat messages, and account record are permanently removed from our systems. Residual copies in backups are purged within 30 days.

Children

HabitRacer is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can exercise all of these from within the app, or by contacting us at the address below.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date above and notify you in the app before the changes take effect.
